Florida Internal Medicine Associates has taken steps to keep our staff and our patients safe.
We are screening our patients when making appointments in order to avoid patients in the office with symptoms identified by the CDC.
We are also screening patients for respiratory symptoms at the check-in time of their appointment and we are following CDC and Florida Department of Health algorithms for infection control, including requiring patients to cover any active coughs and requiring all patients to wear a mask in our facility.
If I don’t want to come to the office and need to see my healthcare provider, what should I do?
We have set up telemedicine consultations and are currently treating our patients via telemedicine. Please call our office at +1 (954) 725-7291 and we will coordinate your telemedicine appointment.
What if I don’t have a computer, can I still ask for a telemedicine appointment?
Yes. There are different ways in which you can have a telemedicine appointment. When you call our office, our customer service team will guide you and help you set up your appointment based on your situation.
